Vacation ruined by consistent AC issues breaking down twice and slow to repair.

Decent size/layout of rooms/bathrooms

We’ve been using booking.com twice yearly for trips to Disney and universal for a decade with our kids and this was our first negative experience. We’ve had small hiccups easily fixed before, but this is the first time that our trip was soured and severely impacted by the discomfort of our stay. First day we get there to swim in the private pool and the light pops out of the side of the pool and is just floating/dangling from electrical wiring in the pool. We stopped swimming and got out. Was told it’s ok to continue swimming even though electrical wiring was loose in the pool . They did come to fix the next day. The AC stopped working in 90 plus degree of Florida where our plan was for 9 days of theme park and water park hopping at Disney etc. of course we want a cool place to sleep at night. We noticed it late in the evening after theme park day in heat. We called like around 8:30 -9pm. The person, Bruno, says it’s late & It’s hard to get a technician to come out. I don’t think he tried to contact anyone. We called him again and got the same answer. Its late. Can’t do much. After a night of being ignored and lack of sleeping in the 90 degree heat with no ac…. The next morning we called and the woman said there’s no plan noted to follow up and the lady says there’s no notes or info inputed that there’s any issue, so no plan at all made for a technician to come out from our previous call at all. She herself was upset at lack of follow-up. We never touched the thermostat during our stay. So, needless to say, we didn’t not sleep well sweating all night and this impacted our stay and plans the next day. They had someone come out and contacted us between 5-6pm late in the day. So, when we returned in the evening, the place was still hot and not cooled down. Another difficult night of sweating and discomfort in what was supposed to be an enjoyable, expensive travel vacation.

My stay was a 3/10

I liked the locations.

My dislike about the Josie is that the house was hit majority of the time. The Wi-Fi didn’t work most day.

Loved it!

Great location and size of property. Photos don’t do it justice. Facilities were great in the house and communally.

Only suggestion to improve would be a bigger and more comfortable sofa for the living area.
