Bad communication..

The location was amazing

Our stay was unfortunately very uncomfortable and disappointing. When we first booked the apartment, the host contacted us and strongly encouraged us to change our booking to a much more expensive apartment, around PKR 40,000. We clearly explained that the apartment we had originally booked was within our budget, but the host continued trying to convince us to take the more expensive option. We were also encouraged to deal directly outside of Booking.com, which made us uncomfortable. We were travelling with two children, so having a confirmed two-day reservation was especially important for us. We booked the apartment and received confirmation from Booking.com that our reservation was confirmed and good to go. However, the very next morning, at the last minute, we were told that we had to leave the apartment because they needed the apartment / it was apparently not available. Oh and also the door handles were broken for the washrooms We questioned this because we had already received confirmation for the two-day stay. We were told that they would mark it as a “no-show” and asked us to vacate the apartment. This was extremely stressful and inconvenient, especially with two children, and after we had already made our plans based on the confirmed Booking.com reservation. The apartment itself was also poorly maintained. The walls were very old and the paint was peeling off. There was a serious water leakage problem in the bathroom, with a large amount of water continuously leaking onto the floor and repeatedly coming into our room. We spent a significant part of the night cleaning the water instead of resting. There were also insufficient towels, with only one towel provided per person. The mattress provided to us was badly damaged and torn from the side. Overall, the property needs significant improvement in maintenance, basic amenities, and communication with guests.

Location was good. Views were great. However bedroom were so sunny that we couldn’t sleep past 6am

Location was best

Bedrooms had floor to ceiling windows but did not have blackout curtains. Windows just had thin semi transparent shades.
