It’s a gite/hostel but very nice as such. A bit tricky to understand where the entrance is but Géraldine send perfect instructions. Keys in keyboxes at the entrance. Géraldine fixed a much appreciated late dinner for us and breakfast. I forgot my jacket when I left and sweet Géraldine sent it to me the day after. She has a lovely feeling for great customer service. Recommended!

This was in an ideal location outside Auxerre (and Auxerre was a challenge with many roads closed for road works) and it is also handy for Chablis, but not at a Chablis price. There are showers on the ground floor (individual cubicles) and toilets on both floors. A shared kitchen space on the ground floor and allocated spaces in the large fridge. The breakfast was excellent and again good value too. I did not get to visit but there is a restaurant walking distance down the road that looks nice.
Nothing - basic but at a great price (leaving more money for wine or a meal !)

Easy to find and close to the motorway
The host was easy to deal with and the lock box system worked well.
The enclosed terrace is a nice touch.
I did not realise the second bedroom was on a mezzanine style floor rather than a separate room - had I known this I would have booked a different property. Our teenage son found the 2nd bedroom very close to the ceiling/cramped
The toilet room is very small and next to kitchen/living area, there was also a lingering odour from this.
Overall it was suitable for our stay as just needed a place to sleep on our travels
