The outside area is really pretty and the rooms are huge and bathrooms lovely shower area. Batsi is a wonderful host and welcome.
At night I always took an uber back but that’s standard in Cape Town

It is a small hotel in a nice neighbourhood. We got very personal and excellent service from our host Batsi. Our room was very big with a nice bathroom. The hotel is in a historic and special house with a lot of atmosphere.
The facilities are a bit limited, but that’s oke.

Beautiful little house, really clean and well looked after. Location is really central. It was actually really handy to have a little kitchen where we could cook - saved us needing to go to a cafe when we had an early start! One morning I had the cooked breakfast which was really nice. Batsi (the residence manager) was super friendly and responsive, even putting us in touch with a taxi driver who took us around Franschoek.
It was fab! There was an issue with the electricity when we were there but Batsi was there to sort it out within 15-20 mins of me flagging it.
