It was a good location for our needs visiting family in the area. A beautiful spot right on lake Gogebic.

What a great location! We loved the deck, the dock, and everything about the outdoors really- we didn't spend much time inside aside from cooking & sleeping. On that note- the kitchen had what we needed or something close that we could make work. The beds, however, were not great. We knew that there were only double beds in this house, so hubby & I were just going to use 2 of them rather than share a bed like usual. I was a little excited for a whole bed to myself however, neither one of us slept well. Please, please upgrade the mattresses! Even our 13 year old complained about them and I swear he can sleep anywhere. Other than that, we did enjoy ourselves. Sleep is a big deal though!

The cabin is in a great location and the host was very receptive when I had questions. However…the biggest problem was the mouse droppings found under the toaster (after we already used it for the day), the dishes were not clean and had to be washed before using. The upstairs shower has a slow draIn so you stand in 2-3 inches of water when you use it. The upstairs toilet was loose and wobbly. When you take the garbage out, it needs to be driven down the long driveway and across the street (I’m not even sure I put in the right place) and is no fun when it is below zero outside.
