This was our first time staying on Bruny Island and we couldn’t have chosen any better accommodation or location. The home was located in a large cutting of tall trees completely surrounding the property with peace and isolation from all external noise except the birds chirping. The bathroom and ensuite both offered underfloor heating and heated towel rails which warmed the space beautifully. Large Open plan living, dining and kitchen with central wood fire, but also a reverse cycle air conditioner for warming up quickly on those cold mornings. The lounge suite was comfy and plenty of seating for larger families. Thanks for the Carl Barron DVD’s..only time we used a TV on our holiday. Three decent sized bedrooms with comfy beds, kids room with a single bunk and a Double/Single bunk. There is a separate laundry and toilet. Short walk down to the beautiful beach at Adventure Bay..great place to take a stroll in the morning or evening. We walked down the beach to complete the Fluted Capes Walk and the Green Grasses walk..just make sure you take the Fluted Capes Walk first when you reach the sign..it is a constant rise but far shorter and less steep than taking the walk the other way..stunning views at the peak and on the way back down. We had lunch at Pennicott Cruises centre which is located next to the start of the walks. While we didn’t take the Pennicott cruise this time..we have previously, the cruise takes you out to the Southern Ocean where you will experience spectacular coastline, seals, dolphins, large array of water birds and a thrilling ride aboard the Pennicott boat. We dined at Mari Bruny in Adventure Bay, Hotel Bruny in Alonnah, and a cafe in Lunawanna..they were all great dining experiences. Would definitely stay in this accommodation next time we stay on Bruny Island. Thank you to Sarah for her excellent communication.

Really beautiful holiday home, everything was perfect for a mini break away.

Not the fault of the property, on me, but one night really wasn't enough to properly enjoy. We weren't able to check in until after 3pm and had to be out by 10am. That doesn't leave a lot of time.

Super clean and very cosy with the wood fire inside and outside. We even tried to chop the wood.

Internet is not very good. TV no signal.

Everything, the location was amazing, we loved the local wildlife that came to visit. Log fire kept the house toasty warm. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook like we were at home. We were very happy with our stay
