The accommodations had a nice Hawaiian flare. The unit was clean and the beds were comfortable. I soooooo appreciated the owner's willingness to communicate. He was very helpful in helping me recover double booking fees.
We needed our cell phone flashlight to see the numbers on the key lockbox. The unit was cold and only had a very small electric "cube" heater. The wall receptacles showed signs of black smoke and melting which made us uncomfortable using the little electric heater. Although the Queen bed had both a top and bottom sheet, both the twin beds had only a bottom sheet.

Great location, only 10 minutes from Volcano national park in a quiet serene setting in the jungle.
We were looking forward to get in the hottub, but it was so dirty that we decided against getting in.
The coffee machine had coffee all over it and has clearly not been cleaned. We booked the place for 4 people but only had two towels and since we arrived late and left early we were not really able to ask for any extra towels.
Only 2 mugs and 2 glasses provided as well. For the price they really need to make sure at least the basics are met.
