Located in a picturesque non-touristy village in the hills above Bolzano ( Bozen ). It was a quiet, serene and a delightful 5 days where we chilled out, & did hikes up on the Salten. We were able to self-cater, buy meat, traditional cheeses & groceries from the local butcher, bakery and small village supermarket. There are a couple of restaurants/bars in the village if one prefers, and there is a local bus service that runs regularly down into Bolzano and also around the small hamlets in the district so one can go on a hike and then catch a bus back to San Genesio. There are cafes in the other villages and on the hiking trails up on the Salten, so one can enjoy a coffee, a drink or a meal break during/after one's hike. Christine ( our host ) was absolutely lovely and was helpful with any queries we had. The accomodation is very new, comfortable, modern and well appointed. We would definitely stay there again!
We had absolutely no complaints. Aster Moments in San Genesio is superb if you are looking for a quiet getaway without the tourist hordes, or as a base to hike the trails up on the Salten.

Wir waren übers Wochenende im Aster Moments . Es war einfach alles perfekt 👌 Frau Christine hat uns ganz herzlich empfangen (trotz Verspätung)
Das Apartment ist wirklich sehr zum empfehlen! Tipi Tipi ….alles vorhanden was man braucht! Toll eingerichtet und sehr sehr sauber und gepflegt!
