About this house rental

The Eagle Cliff Mountain House (22-ZONE3319) is a cute and beautiful 1,062 sq ft house in a forest setting near the base of Eagle Cliff Mountain.
➡Easy access to RMNP. This is about as close as you can get.
➡Relax in the private hot tub after a day of sightseeing or hiking
➡Ride the mountain coaster with unlimited ride passes (see below)
➡Hike the Eagle Cliff Mountain trail from the house for amazing RMNP views.
➡Enjoy the electric fireplace and watch movies and shows on Netflix/Disney+/HBO Max

Three amazing things about this house:

1) The house has three unlimited ride passes to the Mustang Mountain Coaster that you are welcome to use during your stay. Zip through the forest at nearly 30 mph or take it slow and enjoy the scenery down 3,000 ft of track. You can ride the coaster alone or with a passenger. The coaster is located at 1180 Dry Gulch Rd in Estes Park, which is a 5.5 mile drive (approximately 10 minutes) from the house. Please call or visit their website for days and hours of operation. (Some days they are closed.) Please note, there is a $250 replacement fee for each pass that is missing from the house upon check-out.

2) This is one of the best locations in the entire area. You are about as close to the main entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park (Beaver Meadows Entrance) as you can get. Pop in and out of the National Park quickly and easily. It's also just a short 5 minute drive to the shops, boutiques, and galleries of downtown Estes Park. Due to its proximity to the National Park, lots of wildlife passes through the area. In the photos section of the listing are pictures that I have taken from the house of deer, elk, bears, bobcats, turkeys, hawks, and humming birds. I have also regularly seen eagles, marmots, and coyotes.

3) You can go on a beautiful hike to the top of Eagle Cliff Mountain directly from the house without needing to drive. It takes most people between 1 and 2 hours to hike the trail to the top of Eagle Cliff Mountain. The elevation gain is about 1,000ft. Parts of the trail have a steep incline but the views from the top are amazing! This is one of my favorite hikes, especially when the wildflowers are in bloom during the summer. Take a look at the pictures in this listing I have taken from the top. I used an app on my phone to label all the peaks. A map of the trail can be found inside the house. There are other hiking trails nearby that you can walk to from the house including a relaxing and peaceful trail that takes you along Beaver Brook. The boundary for Rocky Mountain National Park is only 0.3 miles up Eagle Cliff Road.

Due to my house cleaner's schedule, I am unable to make arrangements for an early check in or a late check out. On the day of check in, I will send you a message as soon as the house is ready to go. (The house is typically ready to go between 3pm and 4pm.)

My insurance company does not allow for any open flames or outdoor smoking at the house due to fire risk.

The hot tub is available year round but cannot be used during high winds.

During the autumn, winter, and spring, I strongly recommend you bring a vehicle with 4WD / AWD. The town generally does a good job of plowing and sanding the roads in the neighborhood in a timely manner after each snow storm, but if you need to drive while the snow is still falling, or you are going up to higher elevations such as Rocky Mountain National Park where they tend to get more snow, it's a good idea to have it.

The house is decorated for the holidays with an artificial Christmas tree and Christmas wreath. (Typically the week after Thanksgiving through New Year's Day)

Great stay! Easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park. Loved the hot tub and reading in the front porch at dawn. Lovely hummingbirds frequent the porch. Easy access to downtown Estes Park. Get a breakfast burrito from The Bird’s Nest; you won’t regret it.I’d stay here again without thought.

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this VRBO. The host did an outstanding job stocking the home with so many thoughtful essentials that made traveling much easier, including coffee, coffee filters, salt and pepper, a water filter, laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and even a well-stocked first aid kit.Our kids especially loved their room, which was filled with games and books that kept them entertained during downtime. The kitchen was also very well equipped with plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, and mugs, making family meals easy. The property itself was peaceful and quiet, providing a relaxing place to unwind after long days exploring Rocky Mountain National Park. One of our favorite parts of the stay was watching the incredible number of hummingbirds visiting the property—they were constantly flying around and made every morning and evening on the deck feel special. This home was comfortable, thoughtfully equipped, and exceeded our expectations. We would gladly stay here again.
