Overall, this was a great stay. Next time however, I would not stay on the Royal Mile. We learned that this is an extremely busy and very loud street in the heart of the tourist District. Not only is it right across the street from a very large church with loud bells that continue to ring into the night… The bars open up with many people still strolling down the streets at one or two in the morning. It is extremely loud, but it is very central to everything. We had issues with the air. It was only halfway working in our room. Also, the door that slides on a barn door apparatus did not work, but they fixed it quickly. This is an upscale Marriott property with all the other amenities. The restaurant was good. Front Desk staff was helpful. This was right across the street from many Tour options.

Excellent location on the Royal mile. Appartment style property with kitchen and washing machine. Large clean rooms Good restuarants close by. Lots of steps from the railway station but thats not the hotels fault.
