An unique hotel/resort with broad appeal and facilities for a wide range of age, family and groups. Because it is so broad in its appeal, some thought and planning ahead pays off in terms of getting the full benefit of your stay. (The hotel can get pretty crowded on weekends and holidays. Weekdays are often much less congested, especially off season). The hotel is located in a rural area; so, the full board option will be appropriate for most people. The natural salt water springs pool is unique in Uruguay, with therapeutic properties. The variety of spaces and features has something for every age group, and the hotel programs participatory events daily. Food service is offered for breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks and dinner at set times. Seating is in one main dining area with buffet style service. The food offerings are mainstream fare, good variety and well prepared. Note that even for full board, beverages are additional (except for breakfast) and reasonably priced. Guest rooms are comfortable, very clean and functional. For guests arriving by car, there is ample covered parking around the hotel entrance with two electric charging stations in front. For guests arriving by bus, Agencia Central is the main carrier — scheduled service between the hotel and Montevideo is convenient, with busses stopping very near the hotel entrance. The facility is mostly accessible for physically disabled persons, but anyone in a wheelchair would be best to have assistance during their stay. Not reviewed: Additional spa services; biking and access to other facilities in the extended complex. A final note: We were interested to learn how many people we met are returning guests, many who have come here for years and regularly. It speaks well of a place, more than any review can capture. ❤️

La amplitud de las habitaciones y la comida.

Ni tan salina ni tan termal. Un fiasco que traten a las piscinas con cloro!!!. Nomas estar ahí el olor delata. Para eso voy al club. Odio el cloro. Ni las termas públicas de Salto se tratan con cloro, porque el agua circula, estas aguas termales son un engaño total. Solo la piscina del Spa, chiquita y cerrada parecía ser pura agua termal. Deberían tratar a las piscinas con Sal, que es una tecnología nueva y disponible, mucho más sana, agradable y coherente con el perfil de este resort termal!!! Otro temita: en el baño teníamos un olor a tabaco insoportable que entraba por la salida de ventilación. Te duchabas y te ibas a secar y hasta las toallas quedaban con olor a tabaco, desagradable. Deberían cuidar mucho más este tema y prohibir fumar dentro del hotel.
