Filthy, dirty apartment, nothing like in pictures.

The worst experience ever – Do NOT Stay Here This was by far the worst apartment experience I’ve had ever and I have traveled a lot: ❌ The STAFF was unbelievably indifferent. ❌ The BATHROOM was super tiny where the dirtiest bathroom curtain is hugging you, with water not draining properly. ❌ We had to buy anti-clogging liquid and bleaches ourselves just to make the BATHROOM AND TOILET usable. ❌ The TOILET was very dirty upon arrival. Under the lid there was other people’s sh*t. ❌ There was NO MIRROR except the one in the bathroom. ❌ No DRYING RACK was provided until we demanded one. ❌ Only one SINGLE KEY was given for four people, and the door could only be locked with that key from both inside and outside – a huge inconvenience and also a safety issue. ❌ There were NO CURTAINS, so the place was full of mosquitoes every night. ❌ The AIR CONDITIONER remote was missing, and although they promised every single day to bring it, they never gave it to us and it was super hot. ❌ The LIGHT BULBS in every room kept flickering like in a horror movie. ❌ The cutlery looked like it had never been properly washed — greasy, with old food crumbs still stuck on it. ❌ The owner unfairly charged me a “non-refundable” cancellation fee when the booking was cancelled only because I couldn’t transfer money on time while abroad. I rebooked immediately, paid the full amount, and the owner didn’t lose a single cent – but they refused to refund me, saying they “don’t care” and hiding behind the cancellation policy. ❌ The two bedrooms have NO PRIVACY, just a glass door between them. ❌ The sofa has BUGS/ANTS or something and they would bite very badly and we practically couldn’t use it, we had to sit on our beds. ❌ SURFACES of things, especially in the kitchen, super GREASY. ❌ The “meal is ready” BELL from the restaurant below practically never stops. ❗️My advice: stay far away from this apartment.

Don’t get charmed by the photos and book so

Location is superb Main rooms are renovated keeping the old Georgian building/rooms style and vibe

Hosts are unresponsive. On day one we couldn’t find AC remote and they did not respond to calls from either us or Booking. They only sent someone to locate the remote around 10 pm. Batumi is very hot and humid in the summer, so it was impossible to stay inside and we had to go out after a day of traveling. Not everything was like in photos. Bed, table and sofa covers plus plants that are seen in photos and create the vibe were not there when we checked in. Apartment was NOT clean. There was dirt under beds and sofas and pillows were dusty. On top of that, I saw a cockroach on night one and since then we just kept lights on in the bathroom. Not mentioning the fact that there were multiple ants including on the beds.
