Illegal robbery - Do not use this apartment or company NOVASOL!

The beds were overall okay and we liked the balcony

Where do I start? If they had not robbed us of extra money ($85 for electricity, bedsheets and towels), on top of the booking.com fee, it wouldn't have been so bad. Their clever trick was to ensure that we paid via cash only to their property manager Maria so that it could not be traced and we could not demand a refund via booking.com (I told booking.com, but they require evidence of any extra changes with a bank statement). The worst thing is that I only knew about these extra charges one day before our arrival, so it was too late to cancel the booking and get a refund. We would have had to pay the full costs anyway. I called the office and spoke with someone there who was extremely rude, said she didn't care that I was not happy about it, and did not even listen to my complaint (let alone lodge my complaint). So, in summary, NOVASOL is running an illegal scandal to trick tourists out of extra money. Since I paid for the towels, I kept them, and now the property manager is harassing my girlfriend, acting like she has been unfairly treated. Can you believe the hypocrisy? We paid extra for towels and electricity (we did get a small $22 EUR refund for the electricity to be honest, but it's still the principle that disgusts me). The heating was lacklustre (took a long time to heat the room), the oven would a, open and b, heat up, so 3 people had to visit over two separate evenings to fix it, and there was no kettle, so that's 3 visits and us having to be there to receive them to get two basic amenities in place. They were quick to resolve these issues, but with everything else considered, I want as many people as possible to be warned against a, staying in this property and b, using NOVASOL.

Fantastisk!
