This was the most unique place that we stayed at in all of our steps along the Camino. We stayed in the "Pilgrims Prison" which, indeed, was historically for so-called criminals to pay their penance by walking the Camino. LOL
We loved our "cell" which was a nice room on the second floor. The staff was super helpful and even left a sweet note and a basket of fruit and water for us in the room. They had bikes for rent, so I was able to bike to Samos to take a tour of the famous, huge monastery.

Comfortable bed in a bright and airy private room. On the Camino path. Friendly staff at check in. Good laundry facilities and plenty of line drying.
Some of the lights and bathroom radiator were broken. Restaurant was busy at dinner and breakfast as there is so much accommodation in the complex. Limited kitchen facilities (hob but few pans and no kettle).

Staff were the most welcoming and helpful on the Camino. Rooms were very modern, comfortable and clean. Great location on the Camino.
Not a negative- just a fact. Walls between rooms are a bit thin and you can hear everyone leaving in the early morning.

Right on the Camino, friendly welcome. Water and fruit left in room.
