The site was huge. Had various good facilities like a swimming pool and a children’s activities room. The rooms were clean and tidy with all needed essentials.

The dinner buffet and choices were a thumbs up really like the good choice of quality food items and drinks. I had a sprit and water.

We stayed at several hotels during our trip to Oman, and the Thousand Nights Camp was by far the best experience of our entire journey. We can unreservedly recommend it, especially for families looking for a safe and unique desert experience. The camp is beautifully embedded between the dunes. The location is excellent and easily accessible, we went by our rental car. Just follow the electricity cable. The overall atmosphere was wonderfully relaxing, particularly for children. The kids had plenty of space to walk around safely and loved seeing the camels right at the camp. Heading up the dunes in the evening to watch the sunset was a real highlight. The pool area is also well-maintained and provided great refreshment for the whole family. In the evening, there was a campfire where we roasted marshmallows with the kids. It was a lovely, relaxed setting where we had the chance to meet and connect with other pleasant guests. The service throughout (many many thanks to Vaishalis heartful service) our stay was outstanding. Every staff member was extremely welcoming, relaxed, and attentive toward the children. A special mention goes to the chef—the food was consistently excellent and of high quality. Go for the sweets and grilled lamb. We attended a presentation featuring a falcon named Sultan. The keeper explained how the falcons live, how they are trained, and how they hunt. It was an educational and fascinating experience. The children were thrilled, especially when they were allowed to gently hold Sultan under close guidance. We took a guided quad bike tour through the dunes to explore the surrounding nature. Our driver Mohammed was extremely responsible, safety-conscious, and handled the ride perfectly with kids on board. Overall, a safe, unique, and deeply memorable stay for the whole family. I absolutely loved my stay!! The escort was well organised and we had great fun driving to the camp. We purposely chose the furthest away in order to have a longer drive and enjoyed it. Upon arrival everything was super and we were able to check in right away. The door was slightly broken and it got fixed within minutes. Great service! The rooms were beautiful, clean, big and comfortable. The food was very good - both dinner and breakfast and they offer a good range of activities. Parth & vaishali have been super hospitable. I joined the yoga class with Shubham and LOVED it - he was so good. One of my personal highlights. He was incredible!! Id also like to mention sidarath who was working at the reception and took great care of us. Big thanks. Id have loved to stay an extra night. Absolutely recommend staying there.

We really liked the location - it is a magical location in the desert to experience the magic of nature

Unfortunately it is not a ‘boutique’ experience. There are 75 rooms and they are not tents, just buildings with canvas roofs. We had booked a room with a king bed but were given one with two beds and when they were ‘put together’ they were done just with towels stuffed between the beds - this was not ideal. The rooms have a shower into the bathroom with no cubicle so the floor is wet all the time. When we went for a walk we collected 4 big bags of rubbish in the desert right by the property which is really not good enough. Finally the wife is starlink which is fine, but password are given for only one device and when they ran out after a day we were told we had to wait for the IT manager to get new ones from starlink - it makes more sense to have a resort password or give people sufficient passwords for their stay on arrival. The experience was ok but could be so much better We attended star gazing, but there was limited organisation so we just left as there were too many people. Would be better with a kids and family stargazing and then an adult one
