The neighbourhood, right behind the Sapphire Residence, where i lived for one year. Close to the metro station, malls, supermarkets. The woman at the reception (sorry i dont remember her name) and a man who fixed a problem with the wi fi and changed a lamp that was not working, they were very kind and helpful. The building is not so big, so it is quiet. There are some typical places to have tea with baklava and other sweet things; and on Tuesdays there is a street market with fresh local products and other things, not so far from the place - i guess 1000 m walking or so- crossing the Avenue where the metro station 4.Levent is, walking on this Avenue in direction to a sort of bridge not going "down" towards the malls at "Levent" station metro, but the opposite direction, and then at a certain point ( i would say at the "Org. Izzettin Aksalur Cd." street, one must turn right from the Avenue (always walking).
(do not confuse with the famous Kadikoy sali pazari - that is in a complete different neighbourhood ). I would certainly go again to Townhouse Istanbul in future trips.
That it does not have bath-tube, i would have preferred it to the shower, and in the publicity i had seen there were appartments with bathtube., perhaps there were others that already were occupied.
It s a difficulty that people at reception don t speak English, but anyway they managed to help me when i needed, as i commented before. Another difficulty (in my opinion) may be that nobody is at reception on week-ends, but i could arrive well cause it was not week end and i arrived at the announced hour.

I liked that there was a lot of space in the room, the normal kitchen, enough towels and etc. Everything was as expected.
There was a demp smell in the toilet.

The area itself was good, I didnt mind it. On the positive side, the location was very convenient, with easy access to public transport, restaurants and local shops.
Unfortunately, cleanliness was a major issue during my 8-day stay. The apartment was not cleaned during our stay, and although I understand cleaning may be charged separately, it did not feel properly cleaned before our arrival either. The bed headboard was very dirty, the sheets and towels looked tired rather than fresh, and the apartment had a strong damp smell. The wooden floor even felt damp due to the humidity, and the shower needed a proper deep clean.
The apartment has potential, but it would benefit greatly from a thorough deep clean and better attention to cleanliness.
