The location was really beautiful. There was a lot of wind generally in Rarotonga but this beach was quite protected - right near Black Rock! Very comfortable deck chairs. Well positioned common area with two tables and chairs and lots of communal kitchen equipment.
Our unit - No.6 needed some minor repairs, in particular the door of the vanity. Otherwise there was nothing not to like.

Proximity to the beach was fantastic. If you are going to book a bungalow make sure you request bungalow number 2 - it's got the best view and is so close to the beach. The staff, especially Julia, are so helpful and friendly and if you need extra supplies in the bungalow they are supplied quickly. The little shop across the road is good for water and snacks and the accommodation is a short walk along the beach to the community centre, which is a public park on the beach front with an amazing food van, called the Vibe van where you can get super fresh and beautifully cooked fish. The air con is effective and the ceiling fan helps keep the bungalow cool. The hot water is solar heated so make sure you shower before the sun goes down.
