Ein tolles Hotel mit schönen Apartments. Besonders muss man das tolle Essen loben. Gerne werden wir wiederkommen.

Heel lekker ontbijt en heel vriendelijke Sardeense dame die zorgt voor koffie.
Het is een beetje wachten op de lekkere koffie die ze in een andere ruimte klaar maakt en gaat halen.
Het ontbijt is erg verzorgd en er is best wel wat keuze: diverse koffiekoeken, taartjes, brood, beleg, yoghurt en water en fruitsap.
Ook het avondeten was verzorgd en lekker.
Wij namen halfpension en hadden dan ook een menu die we bij het ontbijt moesten kiezen.
Soms werd er een ander dessert opgediend dan diegene die op het menu stond, maar dat vonden we niet erg want ook die waren lekker!
Het eten is zeker 1 van de sterke punten van het hotel.
Er komen ook best wel wat locals om 's avonds te eten in het hotel, dat is meestal wel een goed teken.
Ook als uitvalbasis om de streek te verkennen is het hotel goed gelegen.
Doorgaans erg vriendelijk personeel.
Zoals we reeds hadden gelezen op voorhand: een grappige aankleding.
Het ziet er uit als een museum en de kamers en het hotel zijn wat gedateerd.
Mochten de kamers een update krijgen zou dat een hele upgrade betekenen voor het hotel.
Onze badkamer was erg ruim, maar daar staat dan enkel een kleine douche, een wastafel, een wc en een houten tafel en stoel in. Daar kan meer mee gedaan worden.
Heel wat personeel spreekt enkel Italiaans, wat het niet altijd eenvoudig maakt om te communiceren.

We were very happy to have found Hotel Ristorante Storia del SulcisIglesiente. Although it felt imposing upon arrival, we came to learn about its existence, value and importance to the community and to those traveling. It is a place that locals frequent and on our second night we were part (almost) of a large wedding being hosted. It was a chance to see Sardinians in joy and celebration with the young couple surrounded by friends and family. We could not help but be drawn in.
We dined both nights of our stay in the hotel restaurant and enjoyed delicious food and wine with only a short distance to our room. Breakfast was very good. All the staff, from reception, housekeeping, to the restaurant staff (front and back of house) were excellent.
We deeply appreciated our connection with Maxwell, the owner. On the first day I picked up someone else's rubbish which he witnessed and he thanked me for my kindness (gentile). I learned later he was the owner. Simple acts.
On the day we left, we were talking and he described his hotel and work. In particular, he pointed to an olive tree not far from the front entry doors. It was planted a number of years ago to honour his brother who had died. It was clear to us that the hotel was his life's work and that of his family, and like the Olive Tree, it was rooted in his community. Thank you Maxwell!

A dir la verità ci è piaciuto tutto, dalle camere, al ristorante, al personale.
Per chi fa tappa in moto è un ottimo posto perché hanno a disposizione anche i parcheggi fronte stanza, perfetti per chi desidera tenere sotto controllo la propria moto.
Il personale gentilissimo ed efficiente, abbiamo mangiato molto bene ed in tempi abbastanza rapidi.
Qualità prezzo perfetto!!
Inoltre all interno della struttura ci sono tanti oggetti particolari , sia artigianali che antichi.
Bellissimo tutto… ci ritorneremo senza alcun dubbio!!
