The breakfast was amazing, with a great variety of options. The room was also very comfortable and well presented. We did have an issue with the shower drain overflowing, but we managed to resolve it by removing the drain cover, which allowed the water to flow properly.
The views from the hotel and the room are beautiful. However, we did feel that the listing was somewhat misleading regarding the castle/Chora view. The booking photos gave us the impression that there would be a visible view of the castle, but in reality, the castle cannot be seen from anywhere on the property. That was disappointing and felt a little disingenuous compared with how the view was presented online.

Good breakfast - good fruit selection, freshly squeezed orange juice from self-service machine, excellent cafe latte in big cup
Bed against wall, so partner who loses the coin toss has to crawl out at foot of bed..! Online pics show beds with space on both sides, as one would certainly expect in what is claimed to be a 4* hotel Online pics seem to show a private patio not a shared outdoor space with table and chairs set back in a corner Room lighting and other fittings are cheap and basic, small tabletop TV for example (Greek channels only) 15-20 minute walk to Chora shops and restaurants

Amazing sea view, exceptional breakfast, kind and helpful staff. We also did the daily cruise to the nearby islands that the hotel offers and it was the highlight of our visit - far superior to the larger group cruises, highly recommended.
Our room was clean but not up to the standard depicted in the advertised pictures. We understand that some of the rooms are renovated to a very high standard, ours likely wasn’t.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff ! They are all so helpful and kind and try really hard . I really could see that they all wanted to make guests happy. The location is also good, lovely views and close to chora
I felt as though nothing was cleaned properly . When we arrived we used the toilet facility in reception which was a real mess . All the common areas were really dirty , the chairs in the breakfast room were covered in greasy hand prints and hairs and our room was dreadful , I had to ask twice for them to try to get it sorted out . It really spoilt the stay to be honest. We didn’t even get into the bed the whole 4 days we were there. The staff were nice about it and trying to sort it but they need to do better on this . Our bathroom had fittings that were coming apart also.
