As much as I'd like to recommend staying here on your trip to bunny island, I cannot. The host did provide details for self check-in, but the property is in various states of disrepair. The AC is left off during the summer, so when we entered, it was hot and humid. The bathroom was left off as well and had accumulated mold. It smelled atrocious to the point we were pretty sure it would be a hazard to use it. I don't expect to incur any penalties, but the host also had many fee addendums that were not mentioned prior to check in for various "rules" that are not followed.

Bathtub has an automatic heating feature which was super cool coming from a Canadian who has never seen this before. Super close to the ferry port. Fairly accessible by public transport from Hiroshima airport.

Jump into your car and make short work of the 7-minute drive to Setonaikai National Park or the 23-minute drive to Okunoshima Island Poison Gas Museum (and enjoy the property's convenient onsite parking in the meantime). If you're looking to expand your horizons and see other nearby locales, you can catch a train at Takehara Tadanoumi Station, a short 11-minute walk away.

A dining area, air conditioning, a desk, and blackout drapes/curtains are featured at this 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom rental. In addition, there's a deep soaking tub, along with free toiletries, towels, and a hair dryer. Prepare a home-cooked meal in the kitchenette, complete with an oven, a stovetop, and a freezer, as well as a microwave, cookware, and a rice cooker. And there's a washer/dryer, so you can even pack a bit lighter.
