Wow! This was the most beautiful place. The property is tucked up on a beautiful lot of trees and ferns. Our room was just gorgeous with beautiful furniture, wallpaper and a fireplace. I couldn’t believe we were staying in such a storybook place.
I found Mike at the checkin super kind and helpful. He also gave great recommendations for hiking based on my husband’s mobility needs. His advice was perfect—made our trip!
You can literally enter Acadia from the trails directly behind the hotel. Luckily, you are close to many restaurants, but you are still away from the touristy parts of the island.
10/10 would stay here over and over again!!!

Great place to stay while hiking in Acadia and quieter than Bar Harbor. Breakfast is perfect for hikers and very clean place.

It was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Beautiful bedroom room and a livingroom with a cozy fireplace and kitchenette.
Common areas to meet other guests and a light continental breakfast was served.
There was a terrific outdoor area with a fire pit as well. Loved our stay!!
