This is a great resort if you are looking for more low key. There are not a lot of amenities here. There are 2-3 restaurants for dinner and a buffet. There is 1 restaurant for lunch and an hot dog cart. 1 infinity pool that doesn’t get overcrowded really. 2 small hot tubs. This place is enough, if you plan to go out and on some excursions. The price is great. All the food is great here and clean, even tho it may be high in calories (you can swim off) it is clean food with no preservatives. You can grab a bus to go down the road to shop and eat for 12 pesos or $1. There is a lot to do like go to Isle de Mujeres (Island of Women) snorkel on the way in the clear beautiful Caribbean Sea.
People are friendly and our concierge Violeta. She’s the best! The only issue is this time of year is algae season and it’s the super hot season too, in the summer. I love Cancun. This is also a great place if you’re on a budget. Makes exploring more affordable. I’ll definitely be going back to Cancun!

It was a very different experience than when we stayed 2 years ago. Our stay was overall enjoyable but the food at the dinners was….less than impressive. I really wish they posted what the theme nights would be. And also wish that it wasn’t buffet style. The beach cabanas were nice and the staff were decently friendly. No one really went above and beyond for anything, but that’s ok I guess. We probably won’t be back though purely because of the food.
