The room was great, clean tidy what you would expect. The plus point for me was the windows opened, love the fresh air. The staff were friendly. Didn't have breakfast, only stayed 1 night. Didn't use sauna. There was under ground parking and an overflow carpark. (Pre booked underground parking)
Nothing wrong with hotel or the room, some of the images around the hotel and ambience, felt 1980's, so it definately dated. But that was nice in a nostalgic way.
The hotel was about 15 minutes from the center of Frieburg by uber.

This is a proud family owned business that still does things the old fashioned way, a spotless hotel, pay when you arrive, everything included. The breakfast was excellent.
We did have some trouble on arrival with reception finding our reservation, but it was quickly resolved by a supervisor.
The free parking is nice, we left the car and used the tram or train to go into town and around it, Freiburg tram system is (as all german systems) very efficient and timely.
