This is a unique boutique motel. It is located on a noisy, busy street with lots of sirens 24/7. The staff is wonderful. Breakfast is bare minimum but it does satisfy the morning hunger.

The smoking area is in the parking lot at the entrance where traffic is going in and out while the bar has an enclosed outside area that has plenty of space for people to smoke while they have cocktails and it's guarded by a perimeter to protect you from the incoming and outgoing traffic.

Great option for a nice and clean place to stay. Was in town for a concert, didn't explore all the hotel had to offer, but was nice that they had a couple of bars on site, and some cool looking outside places to hang out.
Have another concert in Royal Oak in a few weeks, already rebooked a room and am looking forward to it.
