I cannot speak highly enough of this establishment
The rooms were basic but all I needed
What made this place special was the staff they made you feel like family like a community? Most of the staff are a community. They live nearby. They told me about their lives
We had a shared experience
The pool bar food was very good
The breakfast excellent and such good value
Honestly, I never have breakfast at the hotels A breakfast at Porto Castello is a worthwhile exception
Drink prices to be honest were cheap
Shuffle five or six times a day each way to the city
What more could you ask for? I will be back again but this time with my family.
I've been to a lot of places, but I will never forget this the Porto Castello

It is a small mom & pop hotel, however the staff is very friendly. They have a tram that takes you to the square and picks you up, and a wonderful breakfast. Overall a cozy spot away from all the chaos of the city and intertwines you in the local community.

Great location however there was a strong odor in the room. Very musty. Needs to be aired out. Shower was very awkward and difficult to use. Staff were friendly and helpful
