Great location, charming and unique rooms (Queen loft has a good view of lower-east side of Manhattan) and very helpful staff. If you book a room with a soaking tub, you can request for bubble-bath free of charge. There's a historic "Katz's Delicatessen" across the street which is quite good (running since 1880s - in the same old way with paper-ticket slips) where you must try the Pastrami sandwich; the line at lunch outside is quite long so you'll want to visit early.

Staff was super helpful. I was in NY for work and when the WiFi in my room was not working, they moved and upgraded me to a new room with quick WiFi very quickly. I was able to get back to work without stress and I very much appreciated that. They gave me a bottle of wine for the inconvenience, too.

Selected this hotel because it was close to my daughter's apartment and pictures looked nice online. It exceeded our expectations. Even nicer in person. Rooms are tight (but that's not unusual for NYC) but very nice with high end finishes. Had lunch in the restaurant, which was lovely and the bar had great drinks and service. Also, as an added benefit, located directly across the street from Taverna di Bacco, an Italian restaurant that was excellent! Also across from the famous Katz's Deli.
