The bedrooms were very clean and nicely kept and the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms do not have an ensuite and access to the bathroom is by a key. This is clear when you book. The rooms are very convenient for the metro which is great. However either the other guests or the neighbours (hard to tell at 5am) were pretty noisy. I wasnt very happy to leave the bathroom unlocked overnight which was a bit inconvenient. Since I had chosen the guesthouse because of its proximity to where other friends were staying this wasnt a major issue. The location was fantastic. Its residential and is away from the hustle and bustle and the continual stream of selfie stick sellers and other touts which besiege central Rome. I felt safe returning from the metro late at night. The local restaurants and bars are very friendly and charge local prices for excellent food. I wouldnt recommend this for families, the lack of facilities in the room would make it difficult with children. However if you are intending to be out for work of sightseeing its fine.

Leonardo was really friendly and helpful, the bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean, the bed was really comfortable, it was right next to Conca d'Oro metro station, and it seemed quieter than a lot of other places too... Even the pizza shop over the road was good.

I recommend staying here for 3 reasons: 1. Clean, comfortable, quiet. 2. It is about a 20 second walk to the MAIN METRO line (Line B) which goes directly to the Colloseum and other points of interest. Also, if you're coming from airport or train station, the B line goes directly to the metro station outside. This is super convenient and safe. While you can stay in a place closer to the action, I found it preferable to take the short metro directly the hotel without having to walk in a shady area. 3. Leonardo. He is the owner and as helpful, friendly and accommodating as anyone with whom I've ever stayed. (he also just had a baby daughter and you are supporting a small business owned by a great guy) Great value.
