The staff were absolutely amazing, very welcoming and helpful.
The hotel is at the top of a hill and a little far out from the town, however there is a shuttle service from the hotel from early morning till late every 30 mins to take you into town.
The town offers some amazing restaurants with a view and if you don’t mind a stroll - some of the fish restaurants by the harbour were superb!
The restaurant in the hotel is lovely too for days you don’t want to venture out!
The hotel itself is quiet and the pool is a really good size - again with some beautiful sea views .
We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel offers incredible views, an excellent pool, an amazing breakfast, and a wonderful restaurant with astonishing views. It is a very peaceful place, and the complimentary shuttle to the Old Venetian Port runs frequently, making it very convenient. The room also had excellent air conditioning. I highly recommend this hotel!

The Royal Sun Hotel is an excellent hotel, albeit graded as a 3* but it is way above that grade. My wife and I have been to a few 3* hotels which suits its star rating and The Royal Sun Hotel far exceeded its rating.
All the staff were excellent. From the front desk, the restaurant and bar staff, to the maids, through to the maintenance and the lifeguard, all so helpful and friendly. We tried to remember names but there was numerous names and many to name individually
The rooms were adequate with the added bonus of a great fridge and freezer. Best rooms for the view, which is spectacular, are the top floor, although we found the noise from the restaurant and bar a little off putting for us so we moved 1 floor down which was much quieter.
The food, breakfast, lunch and dinner was superb with great service from super friendly staff and the cost was average for us.
Great pool and pool area, very quiet and ample space and sun beds for everyone although it was never crowded.
We made use of the gym and hired a car from the hotel which was a reasonable price.
We also utilised the free minivan into town a few times.
If you’re looking for a great hotel out of the way, very quiet, to chill and recharge the batteries with great people and superb food give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.
We will definitely be returning.
