8 / 10Excellent·Jul 2026
We stayed for four nights in the jungle lodge with ocean view. The lodge and view were excellent. The lodge is rustic but comfortable, with excellent air conditioning, clean bedrooms and bathroom. We got a kick out of the outdoor showers! The staff were helpful and attentive, however, the primary way of communicating is via WhatsApp and the responsiveness and clarity could use improvement. The pool, beach and zipline are all worthwhile experiences. The hotel staff will help you reserve excursions as well. The resort is sprawling and getting around can be somewhat of an ordeal unless you reserve your own golf cart.

My family of 4 had a lovely time at red frog beach. It was pricier than other hotels, but so glad we did this anyway! It is a higher end resort and our villa was incredible. I highly recommend this property.

The resort was wonderful! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The jungle lodges had everything you needed, along with the restaurant and small grocery store on the property. The location is top notch, allowing you access to both the beaches and rainforest. Another perk is that the location is close to a couple of other excellent beach restaurants. Most importantly, the massage at the spa was AMAZING!
