The bedroom was clean and spacious
Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice
Staff lovely and friendly
An added bonus was a fridge in the room
The area was difficult to get to with all roadworks around that area
It was very easy to get to the town centre by foot, an excellent location
Did not feel very safe walking around especially at night time around that area

The Cambridge is a gem, so glad I found it. Location is very central for station and civic amenities and walking distance from proper pubs! It's in an older, quieter part of town so there is lots to see and decent places to eat. The rooms are just as good as Premier Inn (where I usually stay when in Huddersfield) and half the price. Parking underneath the hotel is fab and access will be much improved when the road works are finished.

Free self Parking, there is EV charging/ Disabled, place your blue badge on the dash. Give your Reg to reception on check-in, I was surprised how lovely the hotel was clean & very helpful staff, booked our taxi for us to the Parish for our night out, it is close enough to walk, Breakfast buffet, you don't have pre book. Hair dryer, placed by the mirror,
The hotel is very close to shops, A local pub, The Sportsman, no loud music, real ale, is very welcoming, If I need a stopover in Huddersfield, I will be stopping at the Cambridge.
