I don’t know why, but i was expecting a resort that was well past its expiry date, but was pleasantly surprised by our entire experience. Every aspect was first class and we enjoyed our visit very much.
Great place - would highly recommend it to anyone.

Had a wonderful stay at Windemere House. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Food and drinks were delicious.

One of a few beautiful iconic historic resorts left in Ontario. Only 58 rooms and personal touches ... not a huge hotel. Excellent dinner and location. Large pool and great selection of free activities like shuffle board and volley ball. Minor point ... shower curtain needs to be washed to remove mildew smell. Long covered porch with many outside dining tables. Would have been nice if more of this are was used for traditional lounge chairs to relax and read or talk on hot or rainy days.
