Like this stay, I have stayed there a few times overnight. The location is very convenient as we were towing a car trailer and didn't have to navigate the narrow streets down towards the Malecon.
There is a gated dirt parking lot behind the hotel.
As far as the room, it was clean and ready. The bathroom was clean and stocked with soap and a shampoo, beds were clean and comfortable, a/c mini split worked fine.
We were right by the pool so it was great when we got there. Mid July, and we had driven up from San Jose through 104 degree temps and were ready for a dip. The pool was pretty warm (we figured it was over 90) but floating around felt great. Lots of younger kids in it until about 9 or 10 which we didn't mind. We were too tired.
A good nights sleep and then the included breakfast, which was a basic buffet, juice and coffee. We were rested, fed, and ready to hit the road north.
