Nice place, only an overnight stay. A slight walk from the main road if you're on foot, under 10 mins. No direct transport from Newton Abbot station but if you fancy a 30-minute walk it's not a bad route. On the tip end of River Teign and quite scenic with a nice outdoor garden. Guessing you can take dogs in as they have a dog wash on site :) Restaurant and bar has some good choices.

We had a large, comfortable room with a small balcony & a Estuary view .
The bathroom was small but clean.
There ws a shortage of complentory tea & coffee. We only had 2 teabags daily 4 milks..
As we were staying during the heatwave we could certainly have done with a small fridge, & definitely some complimentary water.
There was plenty of car parking on site.
We enjoyed the choice of breakfast.
Overall we had a very good two night stay.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. My wife and I stayed in an apartment, which had a large kitchen with all the amenities you would need. It had a hob, an oven, microwave and fridge, plus a toaster and even a caffatiere. The bedroom, living area and bathroom were a good size and really comfortablex the bar in the hotel had a great decking area with a great view over the river and down towards Teignmouth. We would definitely return,

I attended for a retirement function and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The manager, Dale, was first class and made sure everything went well. Definitely a good venue for any kind of function. We had a private room and bar and a buffet - which was excellent quality.
We also had access to a projector screen etc so we could plug in a laptop and play videos. It was a very professional set up.
We could use to a decking area which overlooks the river. A very good venue and I would highly recommend it.
