Lodge At Feather Falls Casino

We were pleasantly surprised the casino had rooms available on a Saturday night only. We chose to stay & check it out. We were very impressed with the size of the room. We loved the wall to wall bathroom counter. The built-in area for the micro & fridge with a mirror & overhead pot light is perfect! The bed was comfy. We had room 114 and it was just the right distance from the pool and coming & going from the casino and eating. Speaking of the pool- it was just the right comfy temp! We had it to ourselves. On a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon (wow!). Enjoyed the outdoor/indoor 50/50 pool (clear glass roll-up garage door over half the pool. We enjoyed our quiet pool time alone. As for the casino itself- compared to Gold Country not too far away- we feel the exterior of the property is much more appealing. We also feel a bit luckier playing the slots at Feather Falls vs. GC. Unfortunately though, the casino is not as clean and tidy as we’re used to. There were filthy ash trays at every machine and ashes everywhere. seemed if more IM avail they can keep up with emptying cleaning(?). We ate a breakfast burrito at The Corner Cafe and both drank a different type of iced coffee. The burritos were excellent and worth $6 (could split 1 between 2 adults easily). We also had a late lunch in the bar restaurant (name escapes me)- i got INDIAN TACO & it’s ginormous and delicious! Hubby got PULLED PORK SANDWICH. So yummy! ONLY bad thing was rooms AC. on/off all night. A huge problem :(

We had a wonderful time. The room was very clean and everyone was so friendly. Plan on going again soon.

Great home base for Oroville Lake. We stayed two nights. Place is easy to get in and out of. Hotel is up on a little hill away from casino. The lodging is cool, wish they had two bedrooms but the star suite is decent for two adults and two teens. The food in the AM is slightly lacking imo, and the buffet doesn’t open till like 11:00 am on a Sunday. And I don’t think you can get a mimosa or Bloody Mary in the morning either. Brewery serves up good lunch and dinner. Overall good place to stay and the prices are fair.

We would highly recommend Feather Valley to anyone that needs an excellent place to enjoy a wonderful getaway. The Staff are very helpful and polite and the amenities are wonderful.
