Holiday Inn Express and Suites Modesto by IHG

Great clean room

I stayed here for 5 days with 3 children (10-17) and thought everything was great! The beds were comfortable and the room was very spacious. The staff was very helpful and always with a smile! The pool was a savior with the heat wave we had and it was never packed. We met some nice people that lived near by that told us that the hotel offers them the opportunity to pay a day fee to use the pool for the day. I love this idea to give the opportunity of a refreshing pool to locals on these hot days. The housekeeping did an amazing job cleaning our room and providing us with extra towels daily as there was 4 of us with long hair so we always wanted extra towels. If there was one negative this week, it was that we would have liked scrambled eggs everyday. the omelets were good but my niece and nephew really wanted basic standard eggs. This hotel also offers a happy hour in the early evenings that brought out a lot of people every evening. I did not partake but others appeared to enjoy it. My overall experience was great! A clean hotel with courteous staff and Boomers is right across the street.
