It was a hidden treasure located in the mountains. It was quiet and peaceful, and the staff was very nice.. I look forward to staying there again if I’m ever in the area.

I stayed for one night with family, it is located at most beautiful location, calm and quiet environment, at the shore of lake, nearby to trail. There was no much food options for vegetarian, i had to go to Bedford that was only issue for me otherwise it was good overall

We love this place for the peaceful, quiet stay. Beautiful scenery, restaurant food was good, the menu is small, but everything was delicious. There's a paved path around the lake for a stroll, bird sounds and a close encounter with a deer!

We didn't have a place to stay, on a whim we just headed up to the Natural Bridge in VA. We found the Peaks of Otter and decided to go for it. It is an older building but it was done up well and very clean. All the room have a magnificent view of the lake and the grounds are delightful to meander around on . We think it 's "our spot" now. We will be back.
