What a wonderful hotel set in an old Convent - the architecture was splendid and the new wing with the rooms wonderful. Can't say enough about this gem!!

Very unique property. Mix of historical site (originally a convent) and modern amenities. We stayed in a spacious modern room, that walked out to large grounds. The hotel included the original chapel that rivaled many that we saw in Portugal - it was beautiful. We swam in the large infinity pool and enjoyed walking the grounds. We ate dinner in the casual bar area but it was exceptionally good. The breakfast was also plentiful and delicious. This is a unique property that provided an exceptional experience - worth the price. Highly recommend

Great room, staff were very helpful.
Only problem was the floor in the room was very squeaky. Every time you walked to the bathroom it was just awful, especially in the middle of the night.
No instructions on how to work the jetted tub, but we figured it out by trial and error, lol.
Very quiet. Bathroom floor was a bit slippery, so just put a towel down to prevent falls.
Food was good.
Lidl in town has great prices on their wine, we’re wine drinkers and wine at hotels can get expensive.
Definitely would recommend this place. The religious artifacts were magnificent.
