This small one-bedroom apartment, comfortable and thoughtfully furnished, is located in a characteristic stone house and is the ideal accommodation for two people seeking peace and relaxation who want to discover the beauty of Lake Como.
Its standout feature is the view of the lake visible through the large arched window.
The apartment consists of a bedroom furnished with armchairs facing the large window, and a kitchen equipped with electric stovetop, refrigerator, a microwave, and is fully equipped.
The bathroom, equipped with a shower, is also fully equipped with a hair dryer.
Includes: iron, sheets, books, playing cards, TV, Wi-Fi, fan, bedding, towels, and kitchen towels.
There is a shared outdoor area equipped with a barbecue, table, chairs, and lounge chairs.
Pets are welcome.
Il Borgo di Molina, which belongs to the municipality of Faggeto Lario (known as “Fage” in the local dialect), along with the village of Riva (on the lakeshore) and the mountains of Lemna and Palanzo, is located halfway along the western shore of Lake Como, across from Carate Urio and Laglio.
These villages, with the exception of Riva, were connected in the Middle Ages by the Regia Road, which ran from Brunate to Bellagio and passed halfway down to the shore.
From Molina, for those who love hiking, the hike up to Capanna Mara follows the mountain trail known as the “Dorsale del Triangolo Lariano,” which starts in Como-Brunate and ends in Bellagio.
In Borgo di Molina stands the Church of Santa Margherita with its ancient Roman bell tower. A major attraction in the village of Palanzo is the ancient typeface from 1572, which is still visible and is considered a national monument.
From Faggeto Lario—a 2-minute drive or 20-minute walk away—or from Torno, 2 kilometers away, you can take boat trips to Como, Bellagio, Isola Comacina, and admire the beautiful Villas on the lake.
Molina is strategically located 10 km from Como, 20 km from Bellagio, 15 km from Pian del Tivano, and 12 km from the LA COLMA astronomical observatory.
Molina has a grocery store, and on Thursdays there’s a small market in the town square; we also have three restaurants, a pizzeria with a newsstand, a tobacco shop, and a bar.
