Our family stayed in the premium suite, which was a great investment for everyone to have space - the full-sized refrigerator was great for storing beverages for hikes and day trips and saving leftovers. Beds were comfortable, and there were two sofa beds in the room that could be used by larger families in addition to the king and queen beds. Air conditioning was effective and we got great sleep.
The breakfast was a standard hotel continental breakfast - there was plenty of everything available. The pool and hot tub were clean and not too crowded but the water seemed to be highly chlorinated as those of us without goggles got irritated eyes after not much time under water. Parking is convenient, as is the hotel’s location close to town.

My family loved this hotel! It was older, but it was very nostalgic and a very well kept property.
The breakfast was delicious, the staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit Mount Rushmore!
