This is a budget-friendly hotel, so don’t expect luxury or a lot of amenities. It’s a good place to stay if you plan to spend most of your day sightseeing and enjoying Rhode Island. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the room was clean, and the air conditioning worked well. The complimentary breakfast was decent—nothing exceptional, but enough to start the day.
The hotel is also pet-friendly. The family we traveled with stayed in a pet-friendly room, and there was a noticeable pet odor in that room. If you’re sensitive to smells or prefer a room that hasn’t housed pets, it may be worth requesting a non-pet room when booking.

Stayed solo in room 206. Beautiful and safe. Can walk right down into Newport. Bus stop right in front as well. Everything was clean and tidy.

"The breakfast menu was fresh. However, there were no bowls available if you wanted cereal for breakfast and not juice in the dispenser. "
