The property is quality and attractive. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast was fine but the times that it was available were exceptional. Having breakfast available past 10 am is nice.
We did have an issue as our train was delayed and we got in exceptionally late as a result. The night auditor had called out sick. So the check-in was kind of a terrible experience but that was because of everything going wrong. I do not think this was the norm of the hotel.

The room was clean! It was beautiful!! It felt like we were living in a manor! Beautiful and periodic interiors. But since its an old building its not very stroller friendly or accessible friendly! The building does not have elevators. It does not have free parking( valet parking is available but costs 40 cad a day). It didn't have a kettle or oven in the room, however there is a common oven to use and kettle is given upon request. If you are travelling without kid and dont mind the small amenities missing, but loveeeee European architecture and old buildings this is the place for you!! But if you have babies think twice.

Good hotel in a convenient location to access shops and restaurants within a short walk, and the quayside within 40 mins.

We loved our stay at the Chateau! It is quite an old building but I think that adds to the charm. It was fairly clean and the breakfast included is excellent. Biggest con is lack of parking and distance to closest public parking lot. We came for F1 and the hotel had very limited available parking. It’s also really important to consider the amount of stairs at this hotel. I wouldn’t consider it to be accessible for anyone that is not fully able bodied.
