I have stayed here several times now. On arrival had a long wait to be checked in. Nobody was on reception. When they finally turned up there was no apology for the wait. Room as expected but I thought this time it was looking very tired. Badly chipped paintwork. Dirty marks on carpet. A stone from a fruit from previous guest on floor. Bathroom was in need of refurbishment. New silicone and definitely a new shower tray. The silicone was particularly dirty. Bed was comfy and clean. Fan was provided. Cleaning lady on departure was very cheery and pleasant! Didn't use the bar or restaurant.

Everything good. Just 2 small things. Some stains on the room carpet and had proble,s re-entering the room and the receptionist got me in. Most helpful. would certainly return.
