Travelodge by Wyndham Cape Cod Area

The staff were helpful and friendly. The pool was clean and the shower in our room had great pressure and plenty of hot water.

Location and the pool A+ will be back

We really liked the location. It was near everything within a few miles. Staff was really nice. We would definitely go back.

The Travelodge by Wyndham is a fixture on the Cape, being one of the few places a traveler can book a single night at the height of the busy summer season (most require at least two). The rate is affordable, which they tout on their roadside marquee; it is also open all year, which is beneficial when looking for a room any time of the year up there. That said: this place has seen better days. The room was in need of a basic refresh (carpet, paint on the trim work and doors), but was acceptably clean otherwise. The bed was comfortable, the old-style in-wall AC/heat unit worked fine (if somewhat loud, as the old ones are). Fridge was a good size. The pool was small, but clean - and closed at 6:00 pm, which is unfortunate when the weather is really hot and an early evening swim would be nice. Rooms can be ground level or second floor, with exterior stairs and entrances. The Travelodge is well-located for those seeking lots of eating and activity options. Ocean-front beaches are close by (expect to pay for parking), as are local fresh-water ponds and schools (playground access for kids). Overall, the Travelodge by Wyndham is a decent option for those looking for budget-friendly accommodations and aren't put-off by a basic (versus "resort-level") place to stay.
