The hotel was nice but they had no tea!! Without the Boston Tea Party! The other problem was the air conditioning had failed. We were notified ahead of time but decided to stay anyway since we would only be there in the evenings and I was given a discount on my price. However we decided to leave Colorado Springs to head north instead if staying an extra day.

When I pulled into the parking lot, I wasn't sure I was at a hotel since it looks like an old apartment building. It looked a little 1970s run down. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in the door. It was very nice with a funky vibe, and it didn't smell like an old hotel.
I'm kind of spoiled because I usually stay in 5 stars only hotels. As a 3 star I would stay in this one again. The room was clean and nice. The refrigerator worked great in the room, as did the air conditioner. I didn't use the microwave or the coffee pot, but I was glad they were there in case. The bathroom was clean and neat and fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that smelled like green apple. The staff was really nice and helpful. It's close to restaurants and they do have a nice breakfast buffet on the weekends. I will stay here again as I'm doing some business in Colo. Springs.
