Red Roof Inn Orlando South - Florida Mall

Good

The property was fine. I mean you get what you pay for, is a super pet friendly property. The only thing uncomfortable was the person next-door. He was constantly making question about my French bulldog, but that’s not related to the hotel per se. The premises were clean. The room was clean, super fast check in and check out.

It was a alright in a pinch and stay for the price. But it would have been nice, since they do require you to pay a $50 deposit for your pets, to atleast mow the lawn in the back that you 'reserve' for pets. They do have a sign that let's you know that there are snakes and other dangerous animals out there which is helpful, but it would be nice, again, if they used the money from the pet deposits to get a lawn mower or hire someone to cut it and maintain it. It would likely also help reduce your issues with the snakes and other animals out there. Wild. The staff affect ranged from sketchy to unpleasant. One tossed a pen toward me as she was also on the phone...speaker phone having a conference call. The other gentleman can do better with customer service and eye contact and words. There wasn't a sheer liner in the curtains and our room was on the first floor, but you can't open the window unless you are okay with passersby and swimmers peering in. The bathroom was clean, but definitely from the late 80s very early 90s. I remember these bathrooms when blocked colored jumpsuits were a hit for teens! It was nostalgic, but I will not return, thanks.
