This is a very family-friendly hotel in downtown San Luis Obispo. The property could use some updating, and a few items in the room and gym needed maintenance. That said, the staff was excellent, friendly, responsive, and very helpful. The complimentary evening drinks were also a nice bonus, and overall, we had a good stay.
The main downside was the noise. We could easily hear people walking by, rolling luggage outside the room, and children playing in the pool. The sound insulation was not as good as I would expect from a hotel in this category.
Breakfast was very tasty.

This was our first time here and we will be back! The room was clean and perfect for our family of 5. The bbq and free drinks from 530-730pm is a perk that can’t be beat!!
