A very short walk from the harbour and the Old Town.
Contessa Boutique Hotel
We booked a room with a double bed but received two single beds pushed together. When asked about this we were told that they had upgraded us to a bigger room. It didn’t feel like an upgrade to us. No blinds on the windows or curtains to blank out the street lighting and daylight, only net curtains. If you like showering with everyone else in the room seeing your wash routine then this room is for you 😁.
If you have any issues you will need to walk to reception in the other hotel as there is no phone or reception in the building. This is more rent a room than a hotel as no hotel facilities. The room was clean a part from the very dusty vanity table.

Great location, clean room, good service and beautiful room.
Only issue we had with loud neighbours.

The hotel is in excellent location within walking distance from all the hot spots. Overall clean room with good air conditioning.
The Check-in location is not in the same place as the hotel. This information was not provided until we paid the room and the stay has been confirmed.
The hotel doesn’t have elevator which make it difficult if travelling with big suitcases or disabilities. The bathroom shower heads in room number 6 are dirty with signs of mold! The big shower head is rusted and the small one is having mold. The lock of the room is broken - so you can’t lock from the inside. There was no telephone or anyone in the lobby in case you need assistance of any matter - rather you have to walk to the “main” hotel reception in a different street.

The location was great, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and nicely decorated.
Other than that, the property was lovely and we had a pleasant stay.
Unfortunately, it did not have a window. This was a little disappointing, as the room without a window was not shown in the photos of the property, so we were not aware of this when booking.

"Location could not be bettered. Beautiful large, light room. Spotless clean and well furnished with plenty of wardrobe space."
