A Disappointing Stay – Important Things Future Guests Should Know

Not much.

On arrival, the house was not particularly clean, with dust, cobwebs and spiders throughout. There were also no curtains on the windows, which made it very difficult to sleep once the sun came up, particularly with young children. Before our stay, the owner reassured us that building work on the property would be paused because we had young children and wanted some privacy. Unfortunately, construction continued daily, with several vehicles, multiple workers and loud machinery coming in and out of the gate throughout the day. The owners themselves also entered the property on several occasions to work or oversee the construction project next door. The property is directly beside a busy road, where vehicles often travel at high speed. This made us uncomfortable allowing the children to walk to nearby shops or explore the surrounding area on foot. There were also several large dogs next door that barked frequently, with loud and quite frightening fights between the dogs occurring at night. The accommodation itself could use some basic improvements. The main bed is simply a mattress on the floor, there were no kitchen knives, and there was only one wine glass. We also regularly encountered large spiders inside the house. When we raised this with the owner, we were told that insect spray would be provided, but it never arrived. The owner offered to drive us into town, which we appreciated, but the price charged was considerably higher than what we would have paid using Bolt. Overall, our stay was uncomfortable and unfortunately very different from what we expected from an accommodation advertised as a peaceful place surrounded by nature.

A Wonderful New Year Holiday

We had a very pleasant stay and would like to thank the hosts for their hospitality and kindness. The location is a beautiful and peaceful mountain village with excellent views from the window. The Sno castle is conveniently located nearby. The house is comfortable, clean, and well equipped, with a good-quality bed and everything needed for a pleasant stay. We celebrated New Year here, and the festive decorations were a nice and thoughtful touch. Due to the road closure, we extended our stay by two additional days and were very satisfied with this decision. It was a relaxing holiday and a memorable New Year. We would gladly recommend this accommodation

So beautiful ♥️♥️

Staying at the Snow View Cottage was one of the most beautiful experiences. It was fully equipped, very clean, and exceeded all expectations — even more beautiful than the photos! The owner was very respectful, and his mother was so kind and generous♥️♥️♥️. She gave us delicious khachapuri that I absolutely loved. God willing, we’ll definitely come back again in the future!

Convenient lodge, nicely equipped- we did some home cooking. Great view on mount Kazbeg. Very friendly host - allowed us to keep car parked during 4 days while we were on a multi-day hike.

Zona molto isolata e angosciante.
