good choice of breakfast preordered the day before and delivered promptly to our room

Dimora delle Arti is exceptional for location , cleanliness and quiet sleep in such a bustling city . As a heritage property ; its unique architecture with central courtyard provides a quiet oasis behind the large wooden door to the crazy tourists on streets .
Clean very comfortable bed- quality linens and upgraded bathroom ensuite ; we appreciated the optional breakfast delivered from cafe below directly to our room at chosen time .
The antique elevator is quaint ; but so is most of EU . The marble steps staircase was fine for daily access and only needed to use the tiny elevator for arrival and departure with our luggage .

It was in a central position and very clean and tidy. The receptionist was very pleasant and informative. They also offered a free drop off for your luggage which was very helpful.
Our air conditioning unit in our room didn't appear to be working.

The location was great, walking distance to great restaurants and bars. No noise from the street at night which was a bonus. The room was large with a lot of natural light. The breakfast delivered to the room was a nice experience. We only stayed one night and it served its purpose. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The space was generally clean but it was not well maintained. The walls in our room had so many marks and scratches, it just looked unkept, curtains looked like they needed to be washed etc. Bed was not very comfortable but it was for one night so we managed. Water pressure was good but the bathroom was small for the size of the bedroom.
