Beware – Pest Infestation, Misleading Photos, and Severely Neglected Property

The view of the Acropolis. The only good thing.

I must leave this review despite my preference not to post negative feedback, as other guests deserve to know what to expect from this property. The management communication was severely lacking. During the week before arrival, I sent four emails asking about luggage storage and confirming our approved extra guests (2 people joining for just the first night, an additional charge was already approved on July 7th). The agency only responded to one email the day before check-in and ignored all Booking.com messages. Upon arrival, the property manager had no record of the extra guests despite my prior approval and accused me of not informing them, despite clear evidence that I had. The property photos are heavily edited and do not accurately represent the apartment. The actual condition is significantly worse than advertised. - Paint is peeling in several areas throughout the apartment - The freezer door and drawer are both broken - The "sofa bed" is not functional, it is a very hard sofa that does not open or convert into a bed; guests must sleep on both sides of the L-shaped frame on the hard surfaces - The "pool" is actually a hot tub in very poor condition: dirty, with visible green algae on the water's edge, and pigeons regularly contaminating it - strong rotten smell coming out of the bathroom and the bathtub (next to the bed) - Overall maintenance and cleaning standards are inadequate for a €600/night property We encountered cockroaches on the second day of our stay. On the third night, we woke to find a cockroach on our bed. This was completely unacceptable. We immediately booked alternative accommodation and left the property. For €600 per night, this property is in unacceptable condition. I felt genuinely scammed. I cannot recommend this property to anyone and advise potential guests to book elsewhere. I deserve a refund... of course nobody takes responsibility.

We loved the amazing location and view from this apartment. It was a perfect base to explore Athens.

The location and the view were amazing. The apartment was pretty quiet given its location.

The bed was very soft and sank a lot in the middle, my partner could not sleep in it and had to rent another room. The sofa beds made up for the kids were very basic and the gaps between the cushions made it uncomfortable. The apartment was a little rundown and dated in comparison to the photos.
